The Mayor of Węgrów

 

 

Jarosław Grenda, born in 1961, native citizen of Węgrów. His wife Catherine works as a chemistry teacher at the Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych im. Jana Kochanowskiego (Secondary School) in Węgrów. A father of three children - two daughters, Magda student at National Defence University, Karolina the 6th grade pupil of primary school and son Kuba the 1st grade of elementary school.

The graduate of grammar school in Węgrów and the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology, where in 1985 he obtained a master's degree in mechanical engineering. He also completed postgraduate studies in management at the Warsaw School of Economics and the applications of computer science at Warsaw University of Technology.

Licensed property manager with the right to work in supervisory boards of state-owned companies.

Works in Węgrów over 20 years. At that time, director of the PGK (limited company) and twice as Deputy Mayor of Węgrów. From December 4, 2006 Mayor of Węgrów.

Interests: keyboarding, history, management, middle – distance running.

Agnieszka Kądziela-Biernat - Economist, the graduate of Warsaw School of Economics, High School of Personnel Management in Warsaw and University of Podlasie in Siedlce.

Performs the functions of the City Treasurer (Treasurer certificate) since 1995. Previously worked in the Office of the District of Węgrów and as a teacher at the Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych im. Jana Kochanowskiego (Secondary School) in Węgrów.

Married with two children.
